Tasting
Notes
|
Closed and reticent to the point of shyness, opens impressively after 15-20 minutes of airing,
the colour is dark ruby/purple, and the nose emerges to reveal licorice, tar and jammy
black fruit scents. It is a full bodied, well structured, beautifully focused, classically
rendered Vintage Port that is capable of 20-25 years of cellaring. It should be close to
full maturity after 7-10 years of cellaring.
