Tasting Notes   "Tasted in the sample room at Vila Nova de Gaia on May 30th 1985. Immense deph, opaque, violet rim. Crisp fig like fruitiness with young brandy still evident. Medium sweet, crisp fruit, dry finish; very much the Dow drier style of vintage Port. Not in the same league as 1977 but useful middle term vintage."
