Tasting Notes
|
"Six components and a final blend tasted in London at a tasying presented by Michael
Symington in June 1982. The miracle and, perhaps, proof of the blenders art was that the
final vintage lot was, even at that youthful stage, recognisably Dow. Very deep purple;
nose still peppery and immature but sweet on the palate and absolutely delicious. Proving
the sum is better than parts. The same components and final blend was tasted just over a
year later. All, or most, has developed noticeably, through the Dow Vintage blend was
still hot and spirity. Port needs patience." |
