DOW´S 1963 Vintage Port
Tasting Notes

"Many tastings since 1965. Consistent notes following the wines development. Very often impossible to know the name of the bottler but Avery, Harvey, Edward Sheldon all good. Two Oporto-bottled wines (by Dow, of course) were noticeably deeper and less mature in colour; powerful and hard (both tasted in 1976). Another Oporto-bottled wine was hightly preferred by a professional panel. My notes at this tasting: medium full colour, firm, maturing; crisp, fruity, bouquet, fairly sweet, rich, fullish body."
