"This was the center of debate on whether 1967 or 1966 was the best vintage.
Unfortunaly, this wine, although it is very good, is no match for the
best 1966s. Medium ruby with a
garnet edge, intense plum and blackberry nose, medium-bodied, with plenty of berry
flavours, tightly knit tannins and a medium finish. It will continue to improve." (Last tasted in December, 1989)
