"This vintage was not declared by Cockburn but a few cases were bottled. Not as great
as the legendary Noval 1931, but very distinctive in its
own right. Light ruby, with a
dried cherry and sugar cane nose, medium-bodied, with sweet cherry flavours, but still
quite dry and very elegant on the finish. Improves immensely after hours in a
decanter." (Last tasted in October, 1987)
